University of Arizona Medical Center 30th El Tour de Tucson

America's largest perimeter bicycling event – 111, 85, 60 and 42 miles plus 6-mile, 3-mile & ¼-mile Fun Rides.  They've all done it - Greg LeMond, Jeannie Longo, Davis Phinney, Connie Carpenter, Floyd Landis - even Lance, who some say got his idea for the Ride for the Roses here.  A super lineup of unique features includes:  3-day Bike EXPO, exciting mass-start spectacle, chip timing, Mariachis at the first of two (usually dry) river crossings, route stations, Bike Patrol and SAG support, Olympic-style medallions to all finishers, 300 other awards, and an unforgettable finish-line festival with Beer Garden, music, massages, etc.  Proceeds go to Tu Nidito Children & Family Services, American Parkinson Disease Association, Ben's Bells Project, Diamond Children's Medical Center, Susan G. Komen for the cure, other Perimeter Bicycling charities, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
